The Davison area has a number of parks devoted to the enjoyment of its citizens. Two of these parks, the Jack N. Abernathy Regional Park and the Manford Park are owned and operated by the City.

  Manford Heights Subdivision
This seven-acre neighborhood park offers playground equipment, picnic tables, basketball courts, and a baseball field.


 

Jack N. Abernathy Regional Park

Hours: 8:00 am - Dusk, Year-round
Location:
Frank Boyce Parkway
Located off Dayton St and Harvey Dr.

The Regional Park consists of 132 acres, some of which are heavily wooded. The park also includes a Playscape, Skate Park, cleared areas for picnics and sports enthusiasts, pavilions, volleyball, tennis and basketball courts, horseshoe pits, playground area, 18 station fitness trail, 4-field softball complex complete with concession stand, and miles of nature trails.


 
DCER (Davison Community Enrichment & Recreation) is a joint program between the City, Davison Community Schools, and Davison Township. They are responsible for developing recreational programs for the Davison area. Recreational programs run throughout the year and are developed for all age groups.
